Easyjet Launches A New Route Between Luton & Tivat

There’s a new route opening between the UK & Montenegro, as EasyJet have announced plans to begin flying from Luton to Tivat as early as April 2024, to capitalize on demand from Brits wishing to visit the stunning Balkan country.

Departing from Luton every Monday and Friday, which is perfect for a weekend visit or longer vacation, tickets for the new route will go on sale tomorrow and is expected to be very popular. Easyjet’s UK country manager, Ali Gayward, said they were delighted to announce yet another route, providing even more fantastic European destinations for their clients to choose from.

Easyjet already have established routes between the UK and Montenegro with flights departing from both Gatwick and Manchester to Tivat, running between March & September twice per week. The average flight time from London or Manchester is around 3 hours, with a taxi from the airport to the centre taking around 8 minutes.

Depending on what kind of holiday you want, the best time to visit Montenegro is between May and October, however, you can also visit between January and March if you are a keen skier. Also bear in mind that you don’t need a visa for Montenegro, and can stay up to 90 days in total, in any 180-day period.

Jet2, Ryanair and Wizz Air are the other airlines operating between the UK and Montenegro.
