Montenegro’s Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic recently announced that in 2022 Montenegro achieved tourism revenues of €997m, just €50m short of the total figure for 2019, which is an amazing achievement for a country which is home to just 619,000 people.

Back in June of this year one of the UK’s largest Budget Airlines (Ryanair) released their Winter schedule, which included a brand new route between their base in Manchester and Montenegro. Already proving to be highly popular, the first few flights travelled the new route in early November, and it’s the first time that Manchester and Podgorica have been linked with a non-stop service.
